Power cables for all voltage and current classes are subjected to numerous types of electrical testing and measurements at the various phases of their service lives ranging from development and manufacturing to routing and long-term operation. HIGHVOLT offers the required test systems and measurement equipment, which at times need to be quite extensive in their scope:
- Fully shielded high voltage measuring booths with AC resonance systems, water terminations, sensitive PD measurement equipment with PD flaw detection for routine testing of AC and DC voltage cables
- Impulse voltage, AC and DC voltage test systems, and heat current test systems for type and long-term testing (prequalification testing)
- Mobile AC and DC voltage test systems with PD measurement technology for on-site testing after routing and maintenance work was performed, also for extremely long cable systems

Thanks to this control concept, using a single interface also guarantees that the test systems and measurement equipment are easy to operate. The measurement values are captured in a centralized database.
