HIGHVOLT has developed a portable on-the-spot AC voltage testing system to measure high voltages and carry out PD diagnostics on distribution transformers. It is used, among other things, in the wind energy sector.
Dresden, 28 August 2017
From 28 August to 1 September 2017, one of the world's most prestigious scientific conferences in the field of high-voltage technology will be taking place: ISH – the International Symposium on High Voltage Engineering.
This year, attendees will be receiving particular support from HIGHVOLT Prüftechnik Dresden GmbH, which will not only be giving two specialist lectures at the event but will also be involved as its main sponsor.
“Central and South America are of extreme interest to us as growth markets. Over recent years we have successfully expanded our activities in the region along with our local representatives”, explains HIGHVOLT’s managing director Dr Ralf Bergmann. “It was now very important to us to promote the international transfer of knowledge with the countries of South and Central America. With the high professional expertise of its speakers and attendees, the ISH offers the best opportunity for this.”
The central professional focus of HIGHVOLT 2017 is on renewable sources of energy (lecture on “Field diagnosis on transformers for wind turbine application”) and on equipment testing for energy networks (lecture on “Protection and measuring elements in the test setup of the superimposed test voltage”).
The international specialist audience will also be flocking to the HIGHVOLT stand, where everything will revolve around innovative, efficient, user-friendly systems for testing and measuring high-voltage devices.
